You must be registered with the governing body of lacrosse in the United States, USA Lacrosse. There is a yearly fee of $35 for High School (15-18) students and $30 for youth (7-14) to maintain registered status.
Lacrosse gear consists of a NOCSAE-certified helmet, NOCSAE-certified chest pads, gloves, elbow pads, mouth guard, athletic-supporter (recommended), cleats, and lacrosse stick. (We have found that the local lacrosse shop, LAXID, has reasonable prices, a great selection, and friendly, helpful staff.) If the cost of equipment is a barrier to your student playing lacrosse with us, reach out to us, we may be able to help.
We are a club sport. Men's lacrosse is not a school-sanctioned sport in Idaho and so all our funding comes from registration fees, generous donations, and sponsorships. Each season we determine the registration fee based on the budget needs after the donations and sponsorships have been accounted for. The registration fee covers expenses such as SWILA (South West Idaho Lacrosse Association) dues, coaches, referees, team uniforms, etc.

Make sure to have your US Lacrosse username and password handy when registering. If you are not a US Lacrosse member, you will need to join. If your membership has expired, you will need to renew. The registration system will automatically route you to the proper screens. Please register before September 1st.
Registration cost is $125 for the 2026 fall season.
Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at Meridian Middle School (south field). Once games start, practices will shift around as needed to accommodate the game schedule. As soon as the game schedule is available, I will send it out.
Fall is primarily developmental, so it is a great time to knock the rust off for experienced players but also a great time for new players who are curious and want to give it a shot; everyone will get playing time. If your sons have friends that might be interested in joining, please encourage them to reach out to one of our coaches
I also wanted to clarify that boys lacrosse is a club sport that is not run through the school district. That means you DO NOT need to purchase an activity card or pay the "pay to play" fee through the school to participate.
